Crossing Bayabas National High School relied on the pitching of most valuable player John Mark Lingan to retain its title in the 3rd Davao City Baseball Cup, recently, at the UM Matina campus.
The defending champions outrun Calinan National High, 15-12.
Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai High settled for the third spot while Bustamante National High took fourth place.
In the elementary division, Lt.Villafuerte School won over Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai while Crossing Bayabas School landed at third place in the two-day tournament supported by the Tokyo Kichijoji Lions Club of Tokyo, Japan, Japan-Philippines Industry Council, Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai and Hon.Consul Hiroshi Mitsuya.
